Trilliant Shaped Diamonds have two methods of conversion to mm size, with an average differential of 10%. Diamond manufacturers for example, often prefer to use the point to point calculation to get the mm size from carat. An alternative way is to use the base to point as a method of finding out the carat to mm conversion. We’ve included both for your convenience. It’s also an elegant and quick method that is super useful for trilliant cut diamond pairs when matching with center stones.
